Gemmell set for Warriors return

Stenhousemuir boss Martyn Corrigan has top goalscorer John Gemmell available for Annan's trip to Ochilview Park.

The Warriors are without Bryan Hodge and Sean Higgins (both groin) as they look to put the disappointment of Tuesday night's defeat to Rangers in the semi-final of the Ramsdens Cup behind them.

Corrigan said: "There is no point in wallowing in getting beaten as Annan can say the same thing as they lost to Raith Rovers in the other semi-final. We played well but lost so we can move on to what will be a tricky tie.

"They will be looking for a shock and we need to ensure that they do not cause one."

Annan are without Iain Chisholm (knee), Steven Black (ankle) and Steven Logan (foot), while Steven Sloan is a doubt.

Galabank manager Jim Chapman will be hoping for a positive reaction following his side's 2-1 defeat by East Stirling in midweek.

Chapman said: "We need to find consistency as we went from a really strong second half performance at Elgin to a disappointing one at home to East Stirling. Hopefully we can hit the heights and stay there against Stenhousemuir.

"We have the potential to give Stenhousemuir a really tough game but we have to do better than we did the other night."
