Queen's Park are still looking for their first win of the season and they hope to include a trialist goalkeeper and a trialist striker in their ranks against visitors Annan.
Missing for the Hampden men are the injured Grant Mosson (groin), Paul Gallacher (knee), James Baty (shoulder) and David Anderson (ankle) with head coach Gardner Speirs boosted by his side's battling abilities in their 3-3 draw with Elgin last Saturday.
Speirs said: "Week by week we are looking more like the side we want to be. Annan will be a tough challenge but if we show the resilience we displayed last week we may well just get that win."
Annan have Paul Watson available for their trip to the National Stadium after a facial injury kept him out of last Saturday's 2-1 defeat from Clyde.
Galabank boss Jim Chapman will finalise his side after fitness tests are carried out on Alex Mitchell, Steven Swinglehurst, Steven Black and Chris Jardine with Chapman looking for a career first.
The Annan boss said: "I have never won at Hampden as a player or a manager and it would be nice to finally achieve that. We had been showing signs of progress all season until last week but hopefully we can start heading forward again by winning this game."
