Albion Rovers manager James Ward misses only full-back Barry Russell, who has an ankle injury, as they take on Rangers at Livingston's Energy Assets Stadium.
The game is Ward's first match as a manager in the senior game and he knows that he has some tough choices to make ahead of kick-off .
"The squad of players here have worked really hard in pre-season and they are all bursting to be involved in a high-profile game like this," he said.
"However I can only pick 11 of them and the 11 I pick will be asked to go out and cause an upset."
Rangers boss Ally McCoist will be unable to field new signings Stevie Smith, Ricky Foster and Arnold Peralta.
The Glasgow giants are unable to register new players until September 1 as a result of a transfer embargo but can select two trialists in their Ramsdens Cup opener with the Coatbridge side, which is being staged at Livingston.
However, Scottish Professional Football League rules mean only players transferring from Scottish clubs can play as trialists, ruling out former Portland Timbers defender Smith, ex-Bristol City man Foster and Honduras international Peralta. Ross Perry and Kyle Hutton miss out with injuries.
