Monaco will again be without striker Radamel Falcao for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash at home to Ajaccio.
The Colombian has missed Monaco's last two games after picking up a thigh problem in the win at Nantes the weekend before last.
The club said the problem was still causing him some discomfort and he would not be risked before he is fully fit.
``Radamel Falcao continues his rehabilitation from a thigh problem. While his situation is improving, he still feels some pain,'' Monaco said in a statement on their official website.
``As a precaution, the club will not allow him return to competitive action until the results of clinical tests and further examinations are normal.''
Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri was quoted as saying by L'Equipe: ``He will not play against Ajaccio. I'm not surprised, it is an old injury from last season which has returned.''
The hosts have coped well without their main frontman so far, winning 2-0 at home to Rennes and then 3-0 at Nice on Tuesday.
Those wins kept them in third place in the table, hot on the heels of Lille and leaders Paris St Germain.
Monaco should not miss Falcao against struggling and managerless Ajaccio, either.
The Corsican side have won just once in the league this season and have taken just two points from their last eight games.
They at least gave themselves a platform to build on in midweek, though, when a late equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw at home to Bastia.
