Dunfermline will be without striker Andrew Barrowman when they battle it out with First Division rivals Hamilton Accies for a place in the William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-finals.

Centre-back Callum Morris is over a groin strain and will return to face the New Douglas Park men, but Andy Geggan is a doubt with an ankle injury and Stephen Jordan is struggling with a hamstring problem.

Assistant manager Gerry McCabe said: ``In cup draws you are always looking for a home draw and we have that so we have a good chance of going through although it will not be easy.

``We are playing well just now and if we show a more ruthless side to things in front of goal I am sure we will progress.''

Hamilton skipper Alex Neil has been given the go-ahead to play despite being in the middle of a three-game ban.

Conner McGlinchey left the New Douglas Park side earlier this week, but Gary Fraser is included after pulling out of a move to Bolton.

Jon McShane and Kieran Millar are missing due to knee injuries.

Manager Billy Reid said: ``We played at East End Park in December and had the better chances in a game that finished 1-1 so we are travelling with a bit of confidence.

``We were slow to start against Dumbarton last week and that cost us the game so I am looking for a stronger start against the Pars.``
