Hill to give minnows steep task

Raith Rovers have defender Dougie Hill available after suspension as they look to end Deveronvale's interest in the William Hills Scottish Cup at Stark's Park.

Allan Walker remains out due to suspension but Rovers boss Grant Murray could call on fit again goalkeeper David McGurn and defender Laurie Ellis after the pair returned to training this week.

Murray said: ``Deveronvale have knocked out two SFL sides in Peterhead and Stirling Albion and will be bringing a big crowd with them here looking to make it three.

``We played Wick Academy from the Highland League earlier in the season we are not going into the game totally blind about how well we need to play.

``It is nice to get a break from the league but it will only remain nice if we win''

Highland League Deveronvale hope to have Craig Morrison available.

A knock forced striker Morrison to settle for a place on the substitute's bench in the 1-0 win over Keith last weekend.

Manager Charlie Charlesworth is waiting on news of the availability for former Aberdeen and Forfar forward Michele Lombardi and Graeme Watt from work commitments, while midfielder Jack Meldrum is an injury doubt.

Charlesworth said: ``Everyone put in a great effort to see off Peterhead and Stirling Albion in the earlier rounds and they will need to do that again as we have a few selection issues.

``The odds are against us but we will go there in good spirits as we are playing well and we can adopt a nothing to lose mentality.``
