Jamie Brough will be absent for Queen's Park when bottom-of-the-table East Stirling visit Hampden.
The defender has an ankle knock but the Spiders, who are without a win in six matches, could be boosted by the return of Paul Gallacher, David Anderson and Tony McParland after the trio resumed training on Thursday.
``This game is all about getting a win and getting even closer to the finishing line,`` said head coach Gardner Speirs.
``In our games recently we have played well, with the exception of Berwick last Saturday when we gave goals away cheaply.
``Hopefully that was a one-off and we can get the win we are looking for in this game.``
East Stirling have lost Andy Stirling from their squad for the trip to the national stadium.
The darting midfielder has returned to his college course in America.
Elsewhere, Kyle Gillespie misses out after illness and knee injuries keep Rhys Devlin and Nathan Shepherd on the sidelines.
Philipp Zufle is absent due to an ankle problem while Michael Herd will not travel because of a groin complaint.
However, Jamie Benton returns to the squad after a knock.
Ahead of the game head coach John Coughlin said: ``We need a result to stop this horrible run of defeats that we are on. It becomes confidence sapping.
``But whilst we may finish bottom, I want us to get winning again before the end of the season. We won at Hampden in the autumn and it would be terrific to repeat that success.``
