Anderson boost for Spiders
Queen's Park expect to welcome back David Anderson from injury for the clash against Montrose.
The midfielder missed the midweek win over Clyde with an ankle knock but should return as second face third at Hampden Park.
Paul Gallacher could feature after recovering from a hamstring injury but winger Aidan Connolly (knee) and Tony Quinn (hip) have both been ruled out.
Head coach Gardner Speirs said: ``Montrose have had great wins over Elgin and Annan recently and showed that they are a side that can score goals so we have to be on our guard.
``We have had two draws against them this season and in both games we have had to come from behind so it would be good to get ahead in this one.''
Montrose are without midfield duo Jonathan Crawford and Terry Masson for the encounter.
The Gable Endies can move to within two points of their opponents with a victory, but must do it without the suspended Crawford and Masson.
Long-term absentee Phil McGuire (knee) is also missing as Stuart Garden's side look for a third consecutive win.
Garden said: ``I watched Queen's Park defeat Clyde 3-0 on Tuesday night and they are a team that are bang in form.
``They have been the most consistent side in the Third Division this season apart from Rangers, however if we can go to Hampden and get a win it would be a really big result for us.
``We have strikers that are playing well and hopefully they can get us the win that would lodge us into a play-off place even further.''
