Double doubt for Queen's

Second-placed Queen's Park have major doubts over Paul Gallacher (hamstring) and Tony Quinn (groin) as they host a Berwick side that sit five places below them but only seven points behind at Hampden.

Youngster Blair Spittal, who made his first start as the Spiders lost 4-0 to Rangers last Saturday, keeps his place in the squad and will play if Gallacher or Quinn fail to make it.

Head coach Gardner Speirs said: ``It is always a tough game when we face Berwick Rangers and this one will be no different.

``We will go into it disappointed at losing 4-0 to Rangers but knowing things could have been different if we had taken the chances we had created in the first half.''

Dene Droudge (knee) and Marc Lancaster (back) are the only absentees for Berwick as they look to keep up with the favourites to secure a play-off spot.

Manager Ian Little is hoping the magic of Hampden will inspire his players and said: ``I always enjoyed coming here when I was a player and that helped me lift my game.

``If the Berwick players can do that, then we are in with a good chance of winning. Queen's are a really good footballing side but we cannot afford to watch them play and we have to take the game to them.

``We have good strikers who can win the game for us if we keep things tight at the back and create chances for them.''
