Shakers low on numbers

Bury are struggling to get a full team together as they host Yeovil in their last game before dropping into npower League Two.

The financially-stricken club, who face a battle to survive off the field this summer, are short on numbers as they look to end their troubled year with a second successive home win.

Blackwell could only name two substitutes for Saturday's draw at Walsall and - of the 13 players he had available then, three could be missing.

Defender Carl Regan and midfielder Tom Soares (both hamstring) are definitely out, while Valery Mezague is struggling with a knee knock.

Blackwell will welcome back Craig Fagan following suspension while fellow striker David Healy (calf) and midfielder Mark Carrington will be assessed after they missed Saturday's draw.

Defender Adam Lockwood has only played 45 minutes of reserve football since November due to groin and back problems but could be named on the bench.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson is short of bodies for their play-off warm up.

The Glovers know a point at Gigg Lane will secure a place in the top two play-off spots, meaning they will play the second leg at Huish Park, but they head up north with a threadbare squad.

Nathan Ralph was forced off in the 1-0 win over Crewe last weekend and he could miss the rest of the campaign while Angelo Balanta also limped off against the Alex.

The QPR loanee joins Dan Burn and Middlesbrough loanee Matt Dolan (both ankle) on the sidelines but there is better news about centre-back Byron Webster who has a slight hamstring strain which should only sideline him for Saturday's match.

Despite picking up two black eyes and a nose injury against Crewe Luke Ayling looks likely to continue in the side having trained this week. Brighton loanee Vitalijs Maksimenk is also expected to feature once more.

But Johnson has not been risking captain Jamie McAllister as they manage his ankle problem ahead of the play-offs and he will sit out again.

A point against already-relegated Bury would clinch the highest finish in Yeovil's history, topping the final position of fifth back in 2006/07.
