Ajaccio will take an impressive run of form with them when they visit Brest in Ligue 1 tomorrow.
Although the clubs are only separated by one place in the table - Ajaccio are 13th, with Brest 14th - recent results suggest an away victory.
While Brest have lost four league games on the bounce, Ajaccio's confidence was lifted by a 1-0 victory over Bordeaux that followed a 3-1 success against Lyon.
They will, though, be without midfielder Chahir Belghazouani, the former Tours and Grenoble player, who is suffering from tendonitis in his ankle that flared up during Ajaccio's final pre-match training session today.
And ex-Chelsea player Adrian Mutu is also absent for the trip to Stade Francis-Le-Ble, having suffered a torn calf muscle during the Bordeaux game that will mean at least three weeks sidelined.
Brest will go into the game minus suspended captain Ahmed Kantari, and Bruno Grougi is recovering from a calf muscle injury.
``The team has been less successful at the moment, but it is important not to have heads down,'' Brest coach Landry Chauvin told www.ouest-france.fr
``Inevitably, when you do not win for four games, teams catch up.
``We are aware of the situation, but also determined to save the club's place in L1. That is our only goal.''
