Lille defender Aurelien Chedjou is convinced that a repeat performance from last weekend's goalless draw against Marseille will be enough to beat Bastia.
Lille are currently sixth in Ligue 1 but just a point behind fourth-placed St Etienne and firmly in the hunt for Champions League qualification.
Chedjou told the club's official website: ``We were frustrated last weekend. We deserved the three points.
``If our performance from the Marseille game is repeated, it can happen.
``We will just have to force the decision to get the three points in Corsica.''
Lille boast a strong away record, having won their last four matches on the road and lost only once in the league outside the Grand Stade Metropole since November.
And they have already tasted victory at the Furiani Stadium this campaign, having beaten Bastia 3-0 in the League Cup quarter-finals in November.
Lille could be boosted further by the return from injury of Rio Mavuba, although he is not yet able to last a full 90 minutes.
Ryan Mendes and Tulio de Melo are unavailable and Djibril Sidibe is doubtful for the trip to Bastia, who can guarantee entertainment if nothing else.
Frederic Hantz's men are mid-table but a potentially dangerous prospect to Lille's Champions League ambitions.
Although they head into the game on the back of a 4-1 defeat at Lorient, Bastia's previous three games brought three victories and 12 goals.
``We did not take our opportunities, unlike Lorient,'' said Hantz.
``That defeat allowed me to put some heads in place to deliver a message about fundamentals.''
