Another long ball - another Mjallby header... Lopez hits a shot which whistles into the side-netting. It's nerve-shredding

Argentina hammer the ball long once more... it's headed away for a throw

Samuel lurks, but Lucic heads clear for a corner. Argentina's fans turning up the noise - Sweden hack the ball away

And Argentina will pour forward: they win another free-kick and Mellberg does well to put the ball out for a throw

Hedman punches well... then Ortega's deflected cross is caught by the keeper. There will be four minutes of stoppage time...

Sweden clear their lines, but Zanetti comes back at them again

Zanetti comes forward... it's another corner. Aimar tries to get there, but the final outcome is a goal-kick

Andreas Andersson so nearly puts the game beyond doubt, curling in a shot which ricochets off the woodwork. A fraction away from 2-0

And the ball is wasted: it goes out of play, Sweden have a throw and not much longer to hang on now. They're set to top the group as things stand

...but here's Zanetti again. Jonsson sticks to his task, but Aimar crosses. All he'll get from that is a throw

Then the ball falls to Zanetti on the edge of the box - the shot is crisp, and Hedman makes a good low save. Crespo can't reach the rebound...

At the other end, a good interception denies Argentina as a low cross is fired into the area... soon afterwards, Hedman has to race out of his area to hack the ball clear

Aimar and Chamot... now Ortega down the left... Mjallby is there with another challenge, typifying Sweden's solid defensive work

Ortega miscontrols as the nerves grow for Argentina. Larsson plays the ball forward, but it's a bit aimless

It's a bad one and Larsson can break... he tumbles to the ground under challenge, but is booked for an alleged dive

And time is running out for one of the pre-tournament favourites. Jonsson concedes a free-kick in a good crossing position for Argentina

His effort is on target but straight at Cavallero, who holds on... as Argentina try to move downfield, the offside flag is up

Almost an amazing own-goal... Kily Gonzalez is then booked for fouling Larsson, who will take the free-kick himself

Argentina have half an hour to score twice, otherwise they're going out of the World Cup

Signs already that the Swedes may be taking a more adventurous approach than they did before the break

Lopez looks for Aimar down the left-hand side... his attempt to find him in a crossing position is too strong and Sweden have the goal-kick

Mellberg heads clear as Argentina press yet again - they earn some respite when Larsson is sent tumbling for a free-kick

Neat interplay finds Ortega deep inside the Swedish half - Sorin is the player darting through, but the chip towards him is just overhit

Larsson produces some great skill and control to finds Svensson, but the move peters out just outside the penalty area

...but then Ortega is fouled and Sweden have conceded a dangerous free-kick on the right. It's swung towards Aimar, who is just unable to get a touch

This one's disappointing, and relatively easily cleared

Lopez meets it with an attempted header back across goal, and that's scrambled behind for another flag-kick

Again Sweden defend the set piece well. Soon afterwards, Batistuta tumbles under challenge on the edge of the area - but the referee is unimpressed by his free-kick claims

Zanetti crosses - superbly - and Sorin meets it with a header which keeper Hedman scrambles away. Corner...

Zanetti makes a mistake, rolling his attempted pass out of play, and the Swedes win a throw inside their own half

The kick causes one or two initial problems, but is eventually cleared... Ortega follows up with a good cross which produces another header clear

Sweden clear again - in the meantime, Larsson has taken a slight knock but will be fine to continue
