90'
Of course they will all be on ESPN and ESPN Gamecast.
90'
Spain march on, and we have some cracking second round ties to look forward to.
90'
A game of good quality and good finishing, especially Iniesta's finish for Spain's second goal which was beautifully taken.
90'
A slightly dull end to what was a generally exciting affair in Pretoria. Chile never recovered from losing Estrada to a harsh red card and, in the end, were happy to take the one-goal defeat that saw them through.
90'
Chile also go through, but they face Brazil in the second round. Spain will play Portugal.
90'
90'
Spain are passing among themselves to kill this off. Both are happy to oblige.
90'
This really is boring stuff. Chile are refusuing to chase the ball!
88'
David Silva is on the touchline waiting to come on. But given that Chile aren't closing the ball down and Spain aren't attacking, I'm not sure he will.
86'
Spain are seeing out this game in a professional, if slightly dull, fashion. Spain will top the group if they can see out the next couple of minutes.
84'
Chile regain possession but give the ball away straight away. Frustrating stuff from Chile, who just need to keep the ball.
82'
Chile are receding further and further into their own half as the game goes on. A completely different side to the one that outplayed Spain in the first half.
78'
Paredes thinks he's through on goal but looks exasperated to see a late flag from the linesman.
76'
Orellana tries an audacious and, to be honest, awful chip from 25 yards out. Chile just need to keep the ball to give themselves a chance.
74'
Villa feeds Martinez, the sub, on the right but his low cross is blocked. Spain are probing for that second...
73'
A predictable substitution given the knock Alonso picked up just before half time.
72'
70'
Chile will fancy their chances of grabbing an equaliser here. They have found it difficult with 10 men in the second half, but are far from out of this.
68'
Comment from John Brewin in Pretoria: Spain looking to kill this. The lack of Chilean personnel means they can play their normal possession game.
67'
Chile clear.
66'
Villa motors clear again for Spain and forces a corner...
65'
Surprising substitution there. The dangerous Sanchez has been replaced.
65'
64'
Villa is through again. Tackled by Isla. Corner to Spain...
62'
Great tackle by Ponce! Xavi plays Villa in with a delightful chip but, just as Villa is about to unleash a shot at goal, Ponce wins the ball brilliantly (and cleanly).
61'
Fabregas chips a lovely ball into the path of Villa who comically falls over his own feet as he attempts to backheel it into the danger area. That was rather funny.
60'
Vidal and Ramos clash yet again. Ramos gets the free kick.
59'
Torres has an ice-pack on his calf. His body language, down in the dugout, is not good.
58'
Xavi exchanges a 1-2 with Fabregas but Xavi can't quite reach the return pass and the opportunity is gone.
57'
ESPN Stats & Info: As of right now, the 2.1 goals-per-match average is the lowest in any World Cup.
56'
ESPN Stats & Info: France was the only other team to score in the tournament down a man (versus South Africa).
54'
Torres appears to be injured, or at least not match fit. Whatever is wrong with him has been recognised by Del Bosque and Fabregas will get a run out.
53'
51'
Paredes and Puyol clash after the former clattered the latter with his elbow. But it was accidental and the referee has rightly used his discretion there.
49'
Spain pushing forward with David Villa on the left but his low cross is too close to Bravo.
48'
That double change was made at half time and had an immediate effect! Chile are back in this...
47'
47'
What a start to the second half! Chile starting this half like they ended the first - on the attack!
46'
46'
45'
ESPN Stats & Info: If results stay the same, this would be the first World Cup under the current 32-team format in which no more than one European team qualifies from any group. Five groups had two European nations this year.
45'
ESPN Stats & Info: Spain look to be set fair for avoiding Brazil. Time for Chile to feel very nervous indeed. Spanish fans are now making themselves heard; the pre-match Chilean bonhomie has dissipated.
45'
But Chile, for the majority of the match, have been the better side.
45'
As for the first half, Chile will feel aggrieved after a sending off that wasn't and a freak - albeit brilliantly taken - first goal for Spain. There can be no argument about Iniesta's beautifully finished strike though.
45'
Not sure how serious that injury to Alonso is. No doubt we'll find out when the second half restarts. They do have the luxury of having Fabregas on the bench though.
45'
45'
And Alonso is limping off...
45'
Ponce has got away with a second yellow after stepping on Xabi Alonso's ankle. That really was deserving of a sending off.
44'
Spain seem to have their mojo back. Ramos is pushing right forward and Chile seem to be on the backfoot for the first time in the game.
44'
Vidal fouls Iniesta after clambering all over his back.
42'
ESPN Stats & Info: Estrada's second yellow was the 12th booking for Chile at the World Cup so far, while Spain has had zero.
41'
Comment from John Brewin in Pretoria: Who else but Villa to supply that goal for the previously ailing Iniesta? He's on top of his game while Torres is still in the process of locating his.
40'
Chile midfielder Jorge Valdivia and Spain's Sergio Busquets
39'
Chile are down to 10 men and they really have their work cut out here. They don't deserve to be losing and don't deserve to be down to 10 men.
37'
36'
34'
Vidal gets away with murder in the box. Well, not murder, but a significant shove on Torres in the box.
33'
Chile chance! Chile counter attack with pace and purpose. Beausejour sprints down the left and, with no one around him, shoots - forcing a smart save from Casillas. Good chance.
32'
Spain force a corner on the left and Xavi swings it in. Pique hammers his header over the bar.
31'
Torres is definitely not fit.
31'
Iniesta attracts the attention of three Chile midfielders but releases Villa before they can put in a tackle. Villa finds Torres on the right but his first touch let's him down and Chile can clear.
30'
Chile are still knocking the ball about confidently despite the goal. Infact, they are still the better team.
28'
Comment from John Brewin in Pretoria: It came against the run of play but David Villa has surely supplied goal of the tournament. Such coolness under pressure.
26'
24'
23'
Pique, crucially, heads away.
22'
Beausejour is body-checked by Sergio Ramos on Chile's left and they have a chance to get the ball into the box here...
20'
Chile's Estrada gets away with a very late tackle on Busquets. I have no idea how he hasn't been booked for that. Very, very late.
18'
17'
Comment from John Brewin in Pretoria: To this observer, Chile have settled the better and look as if they can cause problems for Spain.
15'
14'
The corner was driven in but, eventually, cleared by Spain.
13'
Sanchez attempts a chip from the right corner of the penalty box. It was crafted out of nothing and Chile have a corner.
12'
ESPN Stats & Info: After the first two group games Spain had attempted a tournament high 37 shots.
11'
Estrada makes space 25 yards out and shoots left footed to goal. Casillas gathers but Spain don't look comfortable at all.
10'
Spain were torn open there.
10'
Great move by Chile! Beausejour gets the ball on the right after a lovely stepover gave him some space. His low pull pack was slightly behind Gonzalez, who couldn't keep his shot down. Great move by Chile though.
9'
Torres is causing problems at the back for Chile again. This time, Sanchez sees the ball out. But Torres is looking lively, if not fully fit.
7'
ESPN Stats & Info: The last time Chile won two consecutive games in a World Cup was in 1962, the South Americans reached the semi-finals in that year.
6'
Pique, who seems to think of himself as a striker these days, finds himself with the ball on the edge of the Chile box, but his shot is blocked.
5'
ESPN Stats & Info: Spain are unbeaten against Chile: six wins and one draw, scoring 18 goals in the process and conceding just three.
4'
And Torres was through again! Capdevila's very long pass from left back deceived the Chile defence and Torres was lurking, before the ball ran away from him.
3'
But Torres gets an early sight on goal. Xavi's lofted ball into the box was flicked goalbound by Torres but he was stretching.
2'
Chile enjoying the early possession here. Chile's Sanchez, predictably, is heavily involved in the early exchanges.
1'
Spain, in their away kit of black shirts, white shorts and white socks, kick from right to left.
1'
ESPN Stats & Info: Chile has scored exactly one goal in each of their last five World Cup matches, while David Villa is responsible for Spain's last three World Cup goals.
Comment from John Brewin, Soccernet Editor, in Pretoria: Chile's anthem is sung lustily and continues into Spain's. The South Americans are the team enjoying the occasion. The Spaniards have a win to chase.
Hope that wasn't too confusing! The national anthems are playing out in Pretoria. We are 3 or so minutes from kick off...
And just to make everything clear before kick off, here are the Group H permutations: If Spain beat Chile, they will go through. If the Spaniards lose, they will go out if Switzerland draw with Honduras, or if the South Americans win heavily. Spain are also out if they draw and Switzerland beat Honduras. Chile need to avoid defeat to go through. If Chile lose to Spain by a single goal, Switzerland will only qualify if they beat Honduras by at least two goals.
A first win for Chile against Spain would probably send the European champions home.
A point would be enough to qualify Chile, who have been enthralling but wasteful in beating Honduras and Switzerland. Only once since 1950 has a team won two matches and failed to progress; that was in 1982 when Algeria were the victims of a contrived result between West Germany and Austria.
Spain forward David Villa has avoided a retrospective ban for slapping Honduran Emilio Izaguirre. He will again be partnered by Fernando Torres, while midfielder Andres Iniesta has recovered from the minor leg injury that prompted him to sit out the win over Honduras.
Chile have two key players suspended - playmaker Matias Fernandez and combative midfielder Carlos Carmona. Jorge Valdivia is an obvious replacement for Fernandez, while Rodrigo Millar is fit again after recovering recovering from a calf strain.
Andres Iniesta is expected to return to the Spain side as Vicente del Bosque's side face Chile.
