For South Africa, what a chance. If they give this second half everything they've got, one of the biggest turnarounds in World Cup history could be on.

Everything does seem to be against France today. Gourcuff's red card for a fairly routine aerial challenge on Tshabalala has is one of the more mystifying decisions at this World Cup.

For France, their are six changes. Djibril Cisse is in for the absent Anelka and Clichy is in for skipper Patrice Evra. Gourcuff, Squillaci, Gignac and newly-named skipper Alou Diarra are also in. The other men to make way are Abidal, Malouda and Govou, who are dropped, while Jeremy Toulalan is suspended.

The world is waiting to see how France will react to a week of turmoil, while the hosts South Africa need a miracle to make it out of the group. It's sure to be a tense affair in Bloemfontein.
