Both sides are just going through the motions a bit here; the result isn't in doubt, and it seems to be just a case of playing out time until the final whistle.

Barring an unmitigated disaster, Italy will face Germany in the semi-finals, in Dormund on Tuesday. What a clash that will be.

NICE MOVE! Totti and Perrotta both backheel in the build-up during a nice move, but the Ukrainian defence is very deep and able to clean up the threat.

This is better from the Ukraine; they look to have been given a rocket from their manager in the interval, and have come out with some fire in their bellies.

In Shevchenko, Ukraine have one of the best strikers in the World, but he needs better service than just lumping it up to him to fight for in the air. He thrives on crosses and through-balls but has had nothing of that ilk to work with.

The Ukraine have a reputation for being a defensive side, but they have started this match well enough; they are very competitive in the tackle in midfield.
