DREADFUL! Gyan gets on the end of a swift break, but his shot is weak and straight at Cech, who clutches the ball to his chest in relief.

BRILLIANT CECH! Essien plays a neat one-two with Amoah before sidefooting goalwards, but Cech again saves with his legs.

Ghana are showing remarkable spirit; they are still searching for a second goal, despite the state of the game. I like them.

WOEFUL! Jankulovski opts to shoot from the free-kick, but curls his effort high over the crossbar. That was a waste.

Boateng is shown the yellow card after tripping Rosicky as the Czechs looked to break. Fantastic game at the moment.

Nedved is down with a touch of cramp; he holds his foot and winces, before brushing his locks out of his eyes and hauling himself to his feet.

ANOTHER GOOD SAVE! Gyan holds off his marker inside the area before turning and firing in a low shot, but again Cech gets down to save with his legs.

The game has suddenly become really open and stretched; it is real end-to-end stuff at the moment, which won't please Ghana.

SAVE! Amoah breaks past his defender and fires a shot towards the near post, but Cech makes a smart save and Czech clear.

Nedved breaks down the right channel, but his cross in to the back post is overhit. He has worked really hard today, but has been strangely poor with his final ball.

Czech are trying to up the tempo, but with just 10 men, they are really struggling to break Ghana down.

CZECH SUB: Plasil replaces Sionko; it's an attacking change for the Czechs as they chase an equaliser in the final twenty minutes or so.

It's stating the obvious, but that is a massive let-off for the Czechs; Ghana should have this game sewn up.

There is a Mexican Wave rolling around the stadium; it looks very pretty, and everyone appears to enjoy it. That's nice.

WOEFUL! Gyan spins brilliantly in the area, but then blasts his shot over the crossbar from eight yards out. He should hang his head in shame.

DREADFUL! Poborsky's first touch takes him away from goal; he then pulls his shot across the face of goal from a tight angle. He's not having a good day.

...the free-kick is pulled back to the edge of the area, but Nedved's shot is blocked.

Poborsky is brought down, on the right edge of the penalty area. Free-kick, and a good chance to put some pressure on Ghana...

AMBITIOUS! Muntari slashes a shot over the crossbar from a tight angle; a cross would have been a better option, surely.

There are plenty smiles on the Ghana bench; this is a massive game for them. A win would give them a great chance of progressing from a tough group.

Appiah swings a corner in to the middle for Ghana, but Plasil heads clear.
