Spurs need 'least adjustments' of top Premier League clubs - King

Tottenham legend Ledley King believes Spurs need to make fewer new signings than their Premier League rivals this summer.

The new managers at Manchester United (Jose Mourinho), Manchester City (Pep Guardiola) and Chelsea (Antonio Conte) are expected to make significant changes to their squads, while Arsenal and Liverpool are also set for busy summers in the transfer market.

Both Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino have said the club need to do business to compete in the Champions League and build on this season's third-place finish in the Premier League.

But former Spurs captain King has confidence in Spurs' current crop and believes they will need to do less than their rivals.

"At the moment everyone connected with the club feel that the team are in a really good position," King told talkSPORT.

"Arsenal are probably going to make a few adjustments like every other team, but I think Tottenham probably need the least adjustments moving into next season.

"Obviously every season is a new season and if you don't perform then you will be found out, but looking from the outside as a Tottenham fan, you feel very confident about the current squad and will not have to do too much over the summer."
