Real Sociedad drop points late vs. Eibar; Mangala goal paces Valencia

Pedro Leon scored in stoppage time as Eibar twice fought back from behind to draw 2-2 at Real Sociedad in La Liga on Tuesday night.

Juanmi gave the hosts the lead and was sent off for a second bookable offence at 1-1, after Gonzalo Escalante had equalised.

Eibar had been reduced to 10 men prior to half-time as Florian Lejeune received a second yellow card.

A Carlos Vela penalty restored the hosts' advantage, but Leon had the final say as Eibar equalised in the third minute of stoppage time.

The dropped points could prove costly as La Real vie for the final Champions League spot with Atletico Madrid.

Eliaquim Mangala scored a rare goal as Valencia beat Leganes 1-0.

Mangala struck from close range after his initial header had been repelled to send Valencia 12th, a point and a place above Las Palmas.

The on-loan Manchester City defender last scored a club goal for Porto in 2013-14.

Leganes finished with 10 men at Estadio de Mestalla as Alberto was sent off.

Real Betis eased their relegation fears with a 2-1 win at Malaga.

Pablo Fornals gave Malaga a half-time lead, but Jonas Martin equalised three minutes into the second half.

And Antonio Sanabria scored what proved to be the winner with 16 minutes to go.
