Pierre Hojbjerg considering Bayern Munich future, linked with Hannover

Hannover have confirmed their interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre Hojbjerg.

Hojbjerg, 19, has also hinted at a winter transfer away from Bayern in order to finally kick off his Bundesliga career.

Despite being rated by head coach Pep Guardiola, the Denmark international has struggled for regular first-team football since the appointment of the former Barcelona coach.

Last season, Hojbjerg made nine appearances for Bayern, including a solid performance as a starter in the DFB Pokal final victory against Borussia Dortmund -- this season, he has played seven games, but has only started twice.

He is under contract at the Bundesliga champions until 2016, but has now told kicker that he might need to move on to get his Bundesliga career up and running.

"I believe that it's about time to cut a different path," the 19-year-old said. "I have learned everything here. Bayern are the best school you can get, but I feel ready to make the leap."

Hojbjerg, who has been dubbed the new Sergio Busquets by Guardiola, has been linked with several Bundesliga clubs -- kicker reports that Borussia Monchengladbach, Augsburg and Hannover are all keen on the midfielder.

"I want to finally get started. Bayern's squad is really good. It might not be the time to cut my path here," he said. "I want to get better, and learn, and therefore I need games."

And while his agent Soren Lerby confirmed in kicker that they will seek talks with Bayern in late November, Hannover have confirmed their interest in the player.

"I think that he's an interesting player for us. But I can't say more right now," sporting director Dirk Dufner told on Sport1 on Sunday.

Hannover, who rank fourth in Bundesliga after one third of the season, have also been linked by Marca with an interest in Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Medran.

But speaking to Bild, Dufner rejected the claim, saying: "We know the player. But, right now, there is nothing to the rumour."
