Julian Draxler 'not thinking about leaving' PSG amid Bayern Munich link

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Bayern Munich.

Both the contracts of veteran Bayern wingers Arjen Robben, 33, and Franck Ribery, 34, are due to expire next summer and France Football reported last week that the German champions had lined up former Schalke man Draxler as a potential replacement.

However, Draxler, 24, rubbished the exit talk before training ahead of Germany's friendly with France in Cologne on Tuesday.

"I am not thinking about leaving the club in winter or even in the summer," he said. "I am right in the middle of the season with PSG and solely concentrating on our big targets. Now is not the relevant time to think about my immediate or near future."

However, Draxler added: "Of course the Bundesliga is always interesting."

The Germany international signed for PSG from Wolfsburg for €40 million in January and is under contract until 2021.

Despite saying "there's no doubt that Julian Draxler would be a great fit for our squad," Bayern president Uli Hoeness added there was no room for the midfielder at the club in August.

"If we'd go after a player like Draxler come hell or high water, we'd face a similar question like with the James [Rodriguez] transfer," he added. "What about Thomas Muller?

"And we don't want to sell any of our players. I already have a pain in my insides should all of our players be fit for once."
