Kaizer Chiefs have continued to add attacking options to their squad after announcing the signing of winger Dumisani Zuma from Bloemfontein Celtic.

The 22-year-old has been signed on a three-year contract, the PSL heavyweights confirmed on their official website on Thursday.

It follows a wrangle between club and player, with Celtic claiming they had exercised an option on the player to extend his contract at the end of last season, while Zuma claimed no such provision existed.

They have clearly come to a compromise, with the player allowed to leave as the second high-profile exit from the Free State side in a week after Musa Nyatama jumped ship to Orlando Pirates.

Chiefs suffered from a lack of firepower and pace last season, with Zuma the latest to have been brought into Steve Komphela's squad to try and remedy that.

The team has also signed Bhongolwethu Jayiya from Cape Town City and Philani Zulu from Maritzburg United, as well as Zimbabwe international defender Teenage Hadebe.

Zuma made his debut for South Africa in the African Nations Championship qualifier against Botswana at the weekend and has long been highly rated, even if he has been slow to realise that potential.

He burst onto the scene with Celtic in the 2014/15 season, and has appeared in over 20 matches in each of the last three campaigns.
