Jiangsu Suning sign Cameroon striker Benjamin Moukandjo

Chinese Super League strugglers Jiangsu Suning have signed Cameroon international Benjamin Moukandjo from French side Lorient.

Moukandjo, 28, has signed a two-year contract to link up with former England, AC Milan and Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello.

The striker joins a club that already features Brazilian duo Ramires and Alex Teixeira as well as Colombia's Roger Martinez.

Jiangsu are currently next-to-bottom in the standings having picked up just 10 points in the opening 16 games of the season after finishing last season as runners-up in both the league and the Chinese FA Cup.

Capello was appointed head coach last month after South Korea's Choi Yong-soo resigned to return to FC Seoul, where he previously won the Korean league title.
