Former Real Madrid defender Pepe is set to join Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas on a free transfer.
Pepe, 34, was out of contract after being released by Los Blancos following the end of the 2016-17 season.
Pictures of Pepe signing papers in a Besiktas uniform were posted on the club's Twitter account with a caption saying that negotiations had begun. Besiktas have not officially announced the deal.

The Portugal international had looked to be set for a move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to an ESPN FC source, but the move to Ligue 1 failed to materialise.
During his 10 years in Madrid, Pepe played on teams that won three Champions League trophies and three La Liga titles, but had fallen down the pecking order for Zinedine Zidane in recent months in part due to injuries.
Last summer, Pepe helped Portugal to a win at Euro 2016, while also scoring a crucial goal for his country on Sunday as they rallied to beat Mexico 2-1 in the third-place match at the Confederations Cup in Russia.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but reports in England suggested the contract is for three years and will pay the former Porto player €3.25million per season.
