RB Leipzig have reiterated they won't allow Premier League targets Naby Keita and Emil Forsberg a transfer away from the Zentralstadion this summer.
Guinea international Keita has been linked with a switch to Liverpool, with reports suggesting that they could pay up to £50 million to bring the 22-year-old to Anfield.
Emil Forsberg, meanwhile, has been linked with Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool and AC Milan.
In quotes reported by Bild, Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff said neither player would be given a transfer this summer.
"It would be negligent to give away one of our key players now," Mintzlaff said. "Emil and Naby are both extremely talented players with a lot of potential.
"We are delighted that we as a club can keep up with their development and that we can prove ourselves in Champions League in the upcoming season."
However, while on international duty with Sweden last week, Forsberg said: "AC Milan are a fantastic club. They are an interesting project, making investments and wanting to take back the throne again." He added: "I had a fantastic time in Leipzig, and my agent will take care of everything else."
Having played an impressive debut season in Bundesliga, in which they finished behind runaway champions Bayern Munich, Leipzig were cleared to play in the Champions League earlier this week.
Their status had been in jeopardy because Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg, referred to as FC Salzburg when playing in Europe, have ownership links to energy drink company Red Bull.
Earlier this week, UEFA released a statement saying that "following a thorough investigation" the governing body's adjudicatory arm "deemed that no or legal entity had anymore a decisive influence over more than one club participating in a UEFA club competition."
With doubts over the participation in Champions League put aside, Leipzig continue their planning for their first ever European campaign and have made four signings already this summer.
