Joe Hart has confirmed that he will not be playing for Torino next season, but says that he enjoyed his time with the Serie A club.
The England No. 1 signed off at the end of a season-long loan from Manchester City by conceding three as the Granata beat Sassuolo 5-3 to end the season in ninth place in Serie A.
Hart, 30, conceded 62 goals in 36 games for Torino, keeping only five clean sheets, but he told ESPN FC that he would look back on a positive experience in Italian football.
"I really enjoyed it," he said. "I'm not going to come back, but I had a good time."
Hart will now return to City, where he still has a contract until 2019, with his future uncertain. Torino have already made it clear that they cannot afford to sign him permanently, while the custodian is not interested in going out on loan again, saying recently that another loan "is not the right thing for me at my age".
According to Turin's Tuttosport newspaper, Torino have instead turned their attention to former Italy international Salvatore Sirigu to become their No. 1 next season.
He still has a year to run on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, but he may be offloaded this summer with Torino keeping a close eye on developments, now that there is certainty that they will not be signing Hart.
