Crystal Palace, Watford and Brighton lining up for Lee Grant - sources

A number of Premier League clubs are monitoring unsettled Stoke City goalkeeper Lee Grant, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Crystal Palace, Watford and Brighton are all tracking Grant as they look to bolster their goalkeeping options this summer.

Grant has been left disappointed and frustrated at losing his place in Mark Hughes' starting XI following the return to fitness of Jack Butland.

The 34-year-old has not featured in the last four games after playing the previous 30 Premier League and FA Cup games for the Potters.

Grant has kept nine clean sheets in 28 Premier League games for Stoke this season and his impressive performances as cover for long-term injury victim Butland earned him a permanent transfer from Derby in January following an initial loan spell.

Grant's displays this season saw him land a clean sweep at Stoke's end of season awards to make his omission from the side all the more surprising.

Stoke are keen to keep hold of Grant, but Palace, Watford and Brighton are all ready to offer him regular first-team football to lure him away from the Potteries.
