Alexis Sanchez has told Sky Sports he has been frustrated this season because Arsenal should be competing for the Premier League title.
Sanchez, 28, has been visibly angry this season, in particular after his side's 3-3 draw at Bournemouth in January when he threw his gloves to the turf.
The Chile international's current contract expires in 2018, leading to speculation he could leave Arsenal this summer.
Regarding his on-pitch frustrations, Sanchez said: "Because sometimes when I look at the team we have and the players here... because when it comes to winning the Premier League we often lose or draw against teams at home when we are superior.
"Sometimes the frustration more than anything is about the fact we could be challenging for the Premier League title.
"I've always said we have great players here, it's just about having the mentality of being a great player and going out on to the pitch already thinking about winning.
"That's what we've done in the last three games. We had the mentality to win at all costs and we won and we won well."
Fifth-placed Arsenal are in contention to finish in the top four on the final day of the season, but results must go their way, before they then face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on May 27.
"I don't know whether it would be successful or not, but I think it would be positive to beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final," Sanchez added. "I think the players have the desire and mentality."
Sanchez has been in superb form this season, scoring 23 Premier League goals and also laying on 10 assists.
