Valencia goalkeeper Maty Ryan is a target of several clubs after his performances while on loan at Genk, according to his agent, but the Australia international is not going to consider any offers until his parent club make a decision on his future. Ryan, 25, has made 13 starts for Genk in all competitions since joining the Belgian outfit from Valencia in January after making just two appearances for the Spanish side this season. "With Maty doing so well for Genk, there are clubs starting to show interest," Ryan's agent, former Middlesbrough striker Mikkel Beck told Australian channel SBS. "He has a few games left at Genk still and is just enjoying his time there. "He was a bit rusty at first because he hadn't played much in half a year but now he's just getting better with each game and is back to top form. He's a top goalkeeper and when everybody sees him doing it week by week, they are going to come calling. "That is natural and normal but we are not in discussions with those clubs at the moment because we first need to know what Valencia's intentions are." SBS reported that Brighton, who have won promotion to the Premier League, are among those keen to acquire Ryan's services this summer. Ryan stated last month that he was eager to return to Valencia this summer and fight for a starting place. He has four years left on his contract with Valencia, having joined in the summer of 2015 from Belgian Super League side Club Brugge. "As things stand, he is under contract at a club that wants him back and is not in the market officially," Beck said. "Of course, we want some reassurance that he will go back and play at Valencia. We need to solve that situation first and foremost before we can talk about him going somewhere else. "What Maty wants is to be somewhere where he is playing, and his ambition and plan is to make that happen in Spain with Valencia. The Spanish league is the best in the world, and it's where he wants to test himself. "If that is not possible, then it's a case of 'where should we go then?' Mat's an all-round goalkeeper who can play anywhere, including England of course." Ryan is likely to face competition for a starting place at Valencia with current No. 1 Diego Alves recently stating his wish is to honour his contract, which runs until June 2019, despite reports that the club want to sell him this summer. Alves' understudy Jaume Domenech, who started in Sunday's 4-1 home win over Osasuna, has also requested more playing time.
