Roma's Radja Nainggolan plays down Chelsea move speculation

Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has distanced himself from a summer move to Premier League leaders Chelsea by saying he is happy at the Italian side.

Nainggolan, currently on international duty with Belgium, has caught the eye after scoring 12 goals this term to help Roma to second in Serie A.

However, in quotes reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the 28-year-old, who has previously been linked with a switch to Chelsea, played down talk of a move to England.

"In Rome I'm fine,'' Nainggolan said. "My family is happy and even the weather is often good. Sometimes you make choices for the money, others for the quality of life, which matters a lot to me.

"Also, if I went to England, I would have to start from scratch, but I repeat: I am very well in Rome."

Nainggolan was, however, unable to rule out a potential move to China in the future.

"China? Currently no, but you can never say never," he said. "We need to see right now.''
