Diego Costa: Real Madrid are targeting Eden Hazard and Thibaurt Courtois

Chelsea forward Diego Costa has said Real Madrid could swoop for two of the club's star names in the summer.

There has been persistent speculation that Real are targeting both goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and playmaker Eden Hazard when their FIFA transfer ban ends in the summer.

Speaking to "El Partidazo" after Chelsea's 1-0 FA Cup quarterfinal win over on Monday evening, Costa said Chelsea would have to brace themselves for Madrid approaches.

"If Real Madrid were to sign Hazard and Courtois, poor Chelsea!" the Spain striker said.

"Hazard is happy here, but we all know that when teams like that knock on your door you have to think about it.

"He is very calm, he is very much loved here. He is a top player and I would be happy if he stays."

Costa suggested that if Madrid make a move for Courtois it could be difficult to keep a player who enjoyed life in Spain while on loan with Atletico Madrid.

"Real Madrid want the best goalkeepers and Courtois is one of them. Thibaut has a contract here and it would be a pity if he left," he said.

"Thibaut loves Spain, his family lives there. He is happy here but you never know."

Courtois told "El Transistor" after the United game that he was happy where he was "at the moment" and added: "I am really enjoying the success we are having here. I am focused on that. I like it a lot here.

"I hope to be focused on that, to win the league here."
