AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca has turned down a move to Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian.
Bacca, 30, has scored 26 Serie A goals since joining Milan from Sevilla in July 2015, but reports this week said he was poised to sign for Tianjin before the Chinese transfer window closes on Tuesday.
However, despite the temptation of a reported €12 million annual wage, the Colombia international is staying at the San Siro.
"I'm happy to be here and I feel like I'm part of the project," he told Milan TV. "How could I say no to so much money? Easily, I used my head.
"My family and I are very comfortable here. On the first day that [Milan vice-president Adriano] Galliani called me, I never thought twice about accepting. And today, I'm still happy.''
Tianjin, who are coached by World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro, boast Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato and Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel in their squad.
Former Italy defender Cannavaro has claimed Tianjin held talks with Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney but decided to pass on a deal, while a source has told ESPN FC that the forward's agent is currently in China speaking to interested clubs.
