Lyon will make 'very significant sales' this summer - Jean-Michel Aulas

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said the club won't stand in the way "if a player wants to leave and the offer is acceptable," leading to speculation about the futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Corentin Tolisso.

Lyon reportedly rejected a €35 million bid from Arsenal for France international Lacazette last summer, while Tolisso, who rejected a switch to Napoli six months ago, has already held talks with Juventus over a potential move.

The two OL youth academy products look likely to be the headline names of a summer exodus orchestrated by the club itself after Aulas announced "very significant sales before June 30."

"We don't have to do anything, but as we have a squad valued at more than €170m, there will come a time when we have to cash in on that capital," Aulas said in a conference call as he revealed the club made a €2.3m loss in the second half of last year.

"So, as I did with Karim Benzema and Samuel Umtiti, if a player wants to leave and the offer is acceptable, we won't stand in the way."
