Hollinger-Janzen returns to Revs in trade with Minnesota for Shuttleworth

Forward Femi Hollinger-Janzen is returning to the New England Revolution after he was picked away from the club by Minnesota United FC in the 2017 expansion draft.

In exchange, Minnesota have acquired the rights to goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth, who made 127 appearances for the Revs over the course eight seasons in New England.

Hollinger-Janzen, 23, spent his rookie season with New England after the club selected him 51st in the 2016 SuperDraft, scoring two goals and registering one assist in 19 appearances last term.

Revolution general manager Michael Burns said: "The entire New England Revolution organization thanks Bobby for his years of service. We wish him well in the next phase of his career with Minnesota.

"We are pleased to have Femi back on the roster for the 2017 season and look forward to welcoming him back to the club."
