Antonio Cassano has said he may have to retire in the summer if he cannot find a club willing to give him a chance.
Cassano was released from his contract at Sampdoria last month, and the 34-year-old has turned down offers from both China and Serie B.
The former Italy international feels he can still make a contribution at the highest level but told Canale 5: "Nobody wants me -- what am I supposed to do?
"I'm not going to China, Greece or Argentina -- I don't want to go anywhere. I wanted to stay in Italy, but there's nothing happening up to now.
"With all the idiots around at the moment, I could still play in Serie A, and I want to play in Serie A -- but if I don't have the opportunity I will just have to stay at home.
"There's a very big chance that in June I will end my career and work as my wife's manager. She's the breadwinner in the family now."
Cassano played the most recent of his 398 Serie A games in the defeat to Genoa last May.
He has been frozen out by coach Marco Giampaolo this season, and his deal was terminated during the winter break.
