Marko Pjaca has bid farewell to Dinamo Zagreb ahead of a proposed move to Juventus, with his agent confirming he wants to join the Bianconeri.
Pjaca, 21, played little over an hour of Dinamo's opening Croatian league fixture against Lokomotiva Zagreb at the weekend before leaving the field to a standing ovation from the home fans.
"I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who gave me a standing ovation when I was substituted," Pjaca wrote on his Facebook page. "I'm a Zagreb boy who loves Dinamo and I have to admit this applause is one of the most beautiful moments of my career.
"Thank you all for what you gave to me tonight. It was a moment I will remember forever."
Pjaca missed the first leg of Dinamo's Champions League qualifying game against Vardar last week with both the player and his club keen to avoid any injury which would jeopardise a transfer to Italy.
Juve and AC Milan have both made enquiries about the Croatian midfielder, yet it is Juve who appear to be most likely to sign him.
"Before he can sign, Dinamo and Juve need to reach an agreement, and we don't have this agreement yet," his agent, Marko Naletilic, told Sportske Novosti, in quotes reorted by Il Messaggero. "I can only guarantee that the two clubs are talking and trying to resolve everything as soon as possible.
"I expect everything to go through within a week. I don't know when, but Pjaca is close to joining Juve."
Dinamo are reported to be demanding €25 million for Pjaca with Juve offering €20m. Milan had also made a bid for the player, with their general manager Adriano Galliani spotted in Zagreb last week, but the player appears to have his heart set on joining the Serie A champions and playing in the Champions League this season.
