Club Brugge's Thomas Meunier unsure about Paris Saint-Germain move

Club Brugge right-back Thomas Meunier has raised doubts over his proposed move to Paris Saint-Germain, saying there is only a "30 percent chance" he will join the French champions.

Meunier, who was part of the Belgium squad which reached the quarterfinals of Euro 2016, is wanted by PSG as a replacement for Gregory van der Wiel, who left the club at the end of the season after his contract expired.

It was reported that Meunier travelled to Paris to discuss a potential €7 million transfer, however, he says a fear of a lack of playing time at the Parc des Princes could deter him from making the switch.

"I have not made a final decision yet. PSG have an interesting project, with a lot of financial resources and Champions League football. But I am still having a lot of doubts," Meunier, who is also reportedly wanted by Napoli and West Ham, told reporters.

"PSG are developing into a club of the highest level, like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City. How much playing time would I get there? Will I get a chance to prove myself or will I be warming the bench all season?

"I know that the coach is keen to sign me, but they obviously still have Serge Aurier as well. I might get more playing time elsewhere. There are seven clubs that have shown a concrete interest in signing me. Some coaches have guaranteed me first-team football.

"We will see what happens. I'd say there is a 30 percent chance I will join PSG, but there are still a number of candidates."
