Alvaro Morata future not discussed during agent's talks with Real Madrid

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata's agent has said he did not speak about the Spain international during his visit to Real Madrid's Bernabeu stadium on Friday.

Juve bought Morata from Madrid for €22 million in 2014 in a deal that included a clause for the Spanish side to repurchase the player for €35m this summer.

Madrid are expected to activate the clause and then re-sell the 23-year-old at a profit, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal among his potential suitors.

AS has reported that Morata -- who has said he would be happy to stay at Juve or move to the Premier League -- is seeking a salary of around €7.5m a year, but his agent, Juanma Lopez, denied suggestions a deal was close after he was pictured at the Bernabeu on Friday morning.

The agent said the talks had concerned versatile Madrid defender Diego Llorente, whom he also represents.

"We did not speak about Morata at all, and we cannot say anything about that anyway," Lopez told AS. "Today there is an important game [for Morata and Spain against Turkey in Euro 2016].

"We just spoke about Diego Llorente. We will see what happens next week. They are looking for a [loan club] for Llorente and this week his future will be decided. There are various clubs interested."

Llorente, who turns 23 in August, impressed on loan at Rayo Vallecano last season and is likely to go to another La Liga team next season. Villarreal are reported to be best placed, with Malaga and Espanyol also said to be interested.

Morata, meanwhile, had said earlier this week that he is not interested in discussing his future until Spain's Euro 2016 campaign ends.

"I am not thinking about that," Morata said. "I cannot be all day waiting on the phone to ring. It does not interest me for the moment. I will have time for that after the Euros are over. We will see what happens then."
