Lyon open to Alexandre Lacazette sale to Paris Saint-Germain

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says he is willing to sell his club's star striker Alexandre Lacazette to Paris Saint-Germain, but only if the French champions pay big money for him early in the summer.

Lacazette, 24, has been linked with a move to the Premier League or to PSG after scoring 48 goals in his past two seasons in Ligue 1.

PSG are looking for someone to replace record goal scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is leaving this summer, and Aulas said he could envisage giving up Lacazette.

"If Paris, in order to win the Champions League, need to have Alexandre and they have the means to buy him, I wouldn't say no," Aulas told L'Equipe.

Aulas was then asked if Lacazette was interested in a switch to the French capital.

He replied: "At the moment I don't have that impression, but if he wants it and they have the means, I say: Why not?" Aulas did however warn that Lacazette would cost more than PSG would think and said Lyon do not need to sell him.

He is also keen to avoid what happened last season to Monaco, who boosted their finances significantly but lost one of their key players when Anthony Martial signed for Manchester United late in the transfer window.

"If on Aug. 28 we're offered €80 million for Alexandre Lacazette, he will not leave," Aulas said.

"On the other hand, if he comes to see me in the next few days because he has an offer that he can't refuse, then it's possible. If there are to be departures, they'll be done before June 30."
