Barcelona target Hatem Ben Arfa considering three clubs for transfer

Nice attacker Hatem Ben Arfa has revealed that three clubs are still in the running for his signature this summer.

Ben Arfa, 29, is in high demand after scoring 17 league goals to help his team finish fourth in Ligue 1.

The former Newcastle player is out of contract next month and is a confirmed transfer target for Barcelona.

Speaking after making a guest appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, Ben Arfa said 18 clubs are seriously interested in signing him.

The France international said he has not yet decided where he will be playing next season but inadvertently hinted that he could still end up staying in France.

Lyon have already expressed an interest in taking him back to the club where he started his career, while Paris Saint-Germain are also rumoured to be keen on a transfer.

Nice, meanwhile, have not quite given up hope of retaining their star player.

"For the moment, there are 18 very interesting clubs," Ben Arfa told Le Journal du Festival on Canal +.

"But I've already sorted through them and now I'm targeting three of them.

"It's a very important decision for me to take this year. I'm going to think about it and discuss it with the people close to me."
