Arsenal have ruled out selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Galatasaray amid reported interest from the Turkish side, sources have told ESPN FC.

Galatasaray have reportedly explored the possibility of bringing the England international to Istanbul in the future, with the Turkish window having closed on Monday, as they look to make a big-name signing.

However, sources have told ESPN FC that Arsenal have no intention of selling Oxlade-Chamberlain and that the midfielder remains central to Arsene Wenger's plans.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who scored the winning goal in the Community Shield win over Chelsea, remains happy at Arsenal and also has no interest in leaving the North London club

The 22-year-old, who joined Arsenal in 2011 from Southampton, has seen his progress at the Emirates held up by a number of injuries.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has made over 120 appearances for Arsenal during his five years at the club and he is seen as a mainstay in the Gunners side for the foreseeable future.
