Juan Cuadrado agent denies Chelsea exit talk amid Juventus, Valencia links

Juan Cuadrado is highly likely to remain at Chelsea despite links with clubs including Juventus and Valencia, his agent has said.

Cuadrado, 27, only joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in February but Superdeporte reported at the weekend that Jose Mourinho had asked his own agent, Jorge Mendes, to find a buyer for the Colombia international and Spanish newspaper said that Valencia could be an option.

Juve managing director Giuseppe Marotta, meanwhile, said Juve could be interested in taking Cuadrado on loan if Chelsea were to make him available, but agent Alessandro Lucci said that was not the case.

He told Tuttomercatoweb: "It really surprises me to read in some of the English and Italian news channels about invented agents or mediators representing Cuadrado.

"Cuadrado is a Chelsea player who Mourinho wanted strongly. Juan is happy in London and is very likely to stay at Chelsea. Many clubs rate him, but I repeat Juan is a Chelsea player, and his future will be decided by him and me.

"I hope I've been clear about Juan's future. As I've said, he will decide together with me as an agent and intermediary."

Mourinho had told DirecTV Sports last month: "People haven't yet seen Cuadrado. I saw him in Italy, at Udinese, when I was at Inter. I saw him play many times and he is a guy I have high hopes for for next season."
