Youssef M'Sakni scored a brilliant last-gasp winner for Tunisia to give them a Group D victory over Algeria in the African Nations Cup in Rustenburg.
M'Sakni lit up an otherwise turgid affair with a touch of class just as the game entered four minutes of injury time, curling home an unstoppable 25-yard effort into the top corner.
It was a far better goal than the game deserved, but Tunisia will not be complaining after joining Ivory Coast at the top of the group following the latter's 2-1 win over Togo earlier today.
Tunisia's hopes suffered an early blow when Issam Jemaa was forced off after just 16 minutes with an injury suffered in a tussle for the ball with Essaid Belkalem, with Hamdi Harbaoui coming on.
Algeria came closest to breaking the deadlock on 28 minutes when Sofiane Feghouli's cross found Islam Silmani in the area, but his header came back off the bar with goalkeeper Moez Ben Cherifia a mere spectator.
Tunisia's best chance came on a counter attack in the 42nd-minute, but after advancing into the area Saber Khelifa opted to shoot from a narrowing angle and goalkeeper Rais M'Bolhi made a routine save at his near post.
The second half was fractionally better than the first, with Djamel Mesbah flashing a 25-yard shot just wide on 56 minutes and team-mate Adlene Guedioura firing just over the bar from similar range with 20 minutes remaining.
Tunisia had a good chance when substitutes Oussama Darragi and Harbaoui combined neatly, but Harbaoui struck a left-footed shot just wide of the upright.
A sixth draw in eight games in the tournament so far looked certain, but M'Sakni had other ideas after cutting in from the left and leaving M'Bolhi with no chance with a curling shot right into the top corner.
