· Rosters: Guiseley | Barrow

Garry Hunter's second-half strike secured a 2-2 draw for Barrow helped spare the Blue Square Bet Premier side's blushes against Guiseley in the FA Cup first round.

Only eight places separated the two teams heading into Nethermoor Park and Blue Square Bet North Guiseley raced into a two-goal lead thanks to Wayne Brooksby and Danny Boshell.

But Barrow pegged their hosts back before half-time through Adam Boyes and minutes after the restart they were level when Hunter pounced.

The home side took the lead 15 minutes in when Brooksby steered home Nicky Boshell's dragged effort.

Danny Boshell had a goal ruled out for offside but he did double Guiseley's lead with 10 minutes of the half remaining, finding the bottom left corner with a diving header after Danny Hurst's weak punch clear left him with an open goal.

But two quick-fire goals either side of half-time, first through Boyes and then Hunter making the most of a poor back header from home captain Mark Bower, had the visitors right back in the game.

Guiseley substitute James Walshaw had a goal disallowed, an effort cleared off the line and forced Barrow goalkeeper Hurst into a fine save at the death but could not find a winner.
