Toche was Panathinaikos' Europa League hero again as his last-minute goal earned a 1-1 draw with Lazio.

Giorgos Seitaridis' farcical own goal gave Lazio a half-time lead but Toche poached a late equaliser, having also scored the goal which earned his side a point against Tottenham last time out.

After pre-match clashes outside the ground saw four spectators detained by police, the game got underway with Antonio Candreva forcing an excellent early save from home keeper Orestis Karnezis.

Andre Dias headed the resulting corner over and another Candreva delivery against a post before resuming his defensive duties to block Ibrahim Sissoko's shot.

Karnezis saved from Hernanes but Lazio went ahead in bizarre fashion in the 25th minute. Karnezis cleared under pressure but Seitaridis attempted a return pass to his keeper, who was still out of position and watched the ball roll into the unguarded goal.

Jose Manuel Velazquez blazed Lazaros Christodoulopoulos' corner over but that was the end of the goalmouth action for the first half.

The second half started with Mauro Zarate heading Cristian Ledesma's free-kick over, while Pana's Bruno Fornaroli nodded wide just after the hour mark after he was found by Sissoko.

Karnezis parried Hernanes' angled drive and Panathinaikos broke away, with Christodoulopoulos' long-range shot bobbling wide.

Pana substitute Quincy Owusu-Abeyie curled a good left-foot effort wide after a solo run through midfield before Hernanes' poor control thwarted a promising Lazio attack.

Toche replaced Fornaroli and soon drew a reaction save from Albano Bizzarri.

And the substitute was to have the crucial say as time ran down. Christodoulopoulos' shot was cleared behind by Michael Ciani and from the resulting corner, Victor Vitolo's cross was not cut out by Abdoulay Konko and Toche poked home at the far post.

Lorik Cana volleyed over in stoppage time but Lazio had to settle for a draw, keeping them top by a solitary point in a tight group.
