In-form striker Lyle Taylor's 17th goal of the season was not enough to give 10-man Falkirk victory at Hamilton as the hosts earned a late 1-1 draw.
Taylor broke through the Accies defence before slotting the ball past goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert to give the visitors a 13th-minute advantage.
Blair Alston looked to extend the Bairns' lead five minutes later but his effort from the edge of the area curled wide.
The best chance of the first half for Billy Reid's men fell to Steven May but he was unable to keep his strike on target when well placed inside the box.
Steven Pressley's side were reduced to 10 men in the 51st minute when defender Jonathan Flynn was shown a red card for denying Gary Fisher a clear goalscoring opportunity.
The hosts made their numerical advantage count 10 minutes from time as Darian Mackinnon bundled the ball in from close range.
