Fraser McLaren scored a hat-trick as Berwick beat Montrose 4-0 to boost their promotion hopes.
The 24-year-old took his tally for the campaign to 10 with his first treble since 2009.
He netted his first in the 12th minute with a low finish into the corner after being found in the area by Darren Lavery.
The striker added his second seven minutes after the break when Scott Dalziel's blocked shot fell to him 12 yards out and he steered an effort in off the post.
And he completed his treble with 20 minutes left. Jonathan Crawford was dismissed for a professional foul on Dalziel in the area and, after seeing his spot-kick saved by John Gibson, McLaren rolled in the rebound to secure the match ball.
Scott Morton hit the bar for Montrose but Dean Carse added a fourth in stoppage-time by turning in fellow substitute Dean Hoskins' cross from close range.
