Michael Hunter netted twice for East Stirling before scoring an own goal in his side's 4-3 win over Elgin.
The Shire went 1-0 up when Hunter tapped in from close range in the seventh minute before he doubled his side's advantage seven minutes later, stroking the ball past Joe Malin from the middle of the area.
Hunter then gave Elgin hope when he headed into his own goal in the 41st minute, but Kevin Turner restored East Stirling's two-goal lead three minutes later with a penalty.
Elgin forward Stuart Leslie then blasted the ball into the net from 10 yards out to make it 3-2 at half time.
Second-half substitute Jamie Glasgow made it 4-2 from the edge of the area in the 57th minute before Elgin's Craig Gunn scored from 18 yards out eight minutes later.
Elgin went down to 10 men when Leslie saw red in the closing stages.
