Lloyd Young scored in the first minute of the game as Montrose drew 1-1 with Queen's Park at Links Park.
The hosts stormed into the lead after just 34 seconds when Young's sensational 18-yard strike found the top corner of Blair Lochhead's net.
Stunned by being a goal down so early in the match, the visitors struggled to get a hold on the game until the second half.
Queen's Park took the early initiative in the second period and hit back through Paul Gallacher in the 60th minute when he curled the ball into the top corner from 20 yards out to draw his side level.
Both teams pushed for a winner but had to settle for a point apiece.
