Ross Gray provided an assist and a goal as Berwick beat Annan 3-1 at Shielfield Park.
The home side were dominant in the early stages of the game and it wasn't long before they converted chances into goals.
Berwick forward Darren Lavery broke the deadlock after 24 minutes when he stroked the ball into the back of the net from the right hand side of the penalty area after good work by Gray on the wing.
Gray then doubled his side's lead on the brink of half time when he volleyed home from close range to give Berwick a two-goal advantage going into the break.
Dean Hoskins made it 3-0 in the 54th minute when he blasted the ball past Alex Mitchell from close range.
Annan's Graeme Ramage scored in the 90th minute to make it 3-1 but the goal came too late to change the game.
